Course 2: Building a Restorative School

Overview: Practice non-violent communication to build trust with students and colleagues; explore the use of Circles to explore content and address issues. (Introduction course is a prerequisite.)

Prerequisite: Introduction to Restorative Practices

Course 3: Restorative Discipline and Accountability

Overview: Develop skills needed for effective conflict resolution and repairing harms to individuals, relationships, and community.

  • Restorative approach to conflict
  • Discipline as teachable moment 
  • Restorative Practices and Inclusion/Neurodiversity
  • Planning a Harm-Healing Circle
