Services

Tidal Water Consulting can help your school, non-profit, or business implement Restorative Practices using the following services:

Community Building Circles

A great way to introduce your staff or board to Restorative Practices is by having them experience a Community Building Circle. This is an opportunity to slow down and make time for relationship and trust building. By building on a foundation of trust and shared values, your team or board can move forward in a good way and prevent misunderstanding and conflict. TWC can facilitate this kind of Circle during a staff or board retreat or as part of a strategic planning process.

Coaching

TWC can also help your organization form a Restorative Leadership Team, which uses the practices and supports their implementation. Your RLT will identify organizational strengths and weaknesses as well as potential obstacles to success and opportunities for growth. It then develops an action plan, monitors progress, and provides accountability with support. This collaborative model is designed to develop skills and tools needed to carry the work forward so we can fade out over time.

On Site Training

Part of your RP implementation plan may involve staff training. TWC provides two Courses of Study: Restorative Practices in Education for K-12 schools and Restorative Practices in the Workplace for non-profit organizations and mission-driven / social enterprises. For secondary schools, we can also provide training for students that help develop their Restorative Leadership skills. All of our courses are engaging and experiential, using the Circle practice so participants are learning by doing.
